Dealing with clogged pores on 35yr old combination skin

Since December I have been dealing with suddenly dry yet pimply skin around my chin area. It gets flaky if I use foundation or concealer to cover the redness. I’m wondering if it is connected to mask wearing. I previously had relatively clear skin. I’ve bought cerave moisturiser hoping that would help the dry skin without further clogging pores. But feel I really need to address the clogged pores without further irritating my skin. Any suggestions for products? I haven’t bought skincare to deal with spots since I was a teenager and my skin is certainly less oily and more prone to dryness now, so not sure what I should go for. Any advice very gratefully received!

This may sound crazy, but cleanser-wise, I would try Ponds Cold Cream...can be bought on Amazon £22 for three large jars..jars last months. It will melt into your skin, dragging the grimy bits out. I find it doesn't clog my pores....it clears them out.

My skin looks miles better since I have been using it. Like you, I have combo skin.

Thank you! Will give it a try. And bonus that it’s affordable!
