Good quality, comfy, onesie?

So,

Any recommendations for comfy onesies for an adult female, 5'8" ish usually size 14 (big boobs!). Washes well? No shrinkage or colours bleeding etc. Something simple, not fussy, that I wouldn't be embarrassed answering the door in.

I've been looking online and ended up just confused - I confess I've never had one before but the recent cold snap, combined with lockdown, has me fantasising about warm comfort.... I did an advanced search, lots of mentions of onesies on MN - but couldn't find a discussion of the merits of different brands ....

There is no merit to an adult In a onesie IMO!

BusterGonad · 17/02/2021 10:23

I'm not sure there is such a thing!

You want fleece pyjamas/loungewear - very cozy, don't have to take the whole thing off to go for a wee!

TartanGoose · 17/02/2021 11:04

No there isn't. Unless Dunelm are still doing their 'teddy fleece' ones. They don't look like teddies.

I searched high and low for a plain onesie for my mother (76) and it was impossible. It's quite tricky to even find them that don't have the while animal belly circle on the front. In the end I had to get snow leopard as the least garish option.

Still monstrous though.

We've got a blanket made from the Dunhelm teddy bear fleece and it's ratty and hot. Sticks to the dry skin on my feet and hands as well.

This was the closest non-animal one I found.

ASOS mens had some before christmas that were ok, but I'm not sure they would fit well.

ceeveebee · 17/02/2021 11:11

Could you not get some nice pyjamas/loungewear?

ceeveebee · 17/02/2021 11:12

Tu actually have some nice loungewear in, I was given some for my birthday and whilst it would not be my usual choice, they are very cosy!

HerselfIndoors · 17/02/2021 11:18

Hush do one here

HerselfIndoors · 17/02/2021 11:24

Some plain ones here

ridiculously expensive but now I want it

rockyIV · 17/02/2021 12:28

I second the Hush one. I have it and love love love it. Super soft and keeps you warm without being bulky.

Size down though.

TheOnlyKoiInAPondOfGoldfish · 17/02/2021 13:19

oh the Hush one is lovely, it would be perfect, so long as I don't expect to look like the model 🤣

thanks!
