Alternative to Boden

If you want a change from Boden kids, what is similar or better?

I find Boden kids hands down the best kids clothes. Especially for boys. H&M aren't bad to supplement.

Trotters or Joules? I also love M&S, one of the best for quality and washes very well.

Verbaudet have some different things for children.

I think Frugi. John Lewis or M&S are good too if you want to slum it 😉

I should add that some people also like JoJo Maman Bebe. I find them overpriced for what they do, and the jumpers/cardies are always a bit scratchy.

Kite is lovely and v similar to Boden. Fantastic quality as well

Kite, Frugi, some Jojo, H&M. Picalilly, JNY, and some of the Scandi brands like Maxomorra and Duns offer nice quality, bright clothing, too.

I've been really impressed by M&S stuff lately. I bought lots on offer for nursery, initially, as it was such a great price and I didn't mind if it got stained etc. but now use it for most things. It's lovely quality, fits DS well, washes SO much better than Boden (which I find fades and bobbles quickly) and is really reasonably priced.

My boys got to the stage where they didn’t want Boden anymore, not cool they said. They’ve migrated over to H&M which I’m not a fan of for various reasons ( poor quality, dubious ethics). But it seems to work for them as they do not buy clothes for the long term, unlike me. DS17 is a fan of ASOS.

Fat face kids clothes are nice. I've just had a few bits from La redoute for ds and they seem good quality. Next and M&S also have nice quality clothes.

It was slightly less traumatic than finding I could no longer shop at Mothercare (RIP) and Mamas and Papas. PSB is huge so it came much earlier than it should

They’re not similar in style to Boden but for soft stretchy jeans, good quality joggers and plain l/s tops Uniqlo have been surprisingly good. They’ve washed well, which was a big Boden plus for me and have adjustable waistbands.
I threw out the mini Boden catalogue this time as almost everything was a bit too much. It used to like the quirkiness, but this time the huge appliqués and brights were bordering on fancy dress.
I think lockdown has turned me into a miserable fucker😄

Pampered second born as opposed to precious first born

We all love Uniqlo since I discovered it recently
DH loves the heat tech tops, dc love the Anime Tshirts amd I love the undies and trousers.
