Does activated charcoal genuinely work to lift stains on teeth?

I’ve never tried it but was watching some videos last night where the (plus 40 year old) influencer was saying that she used it weekly to remove tannin stains.

Anyone use it and rate it?

I heard it works on an abrasive method. Not good for your teeth long term, but I am happy to be told I am wrong.

I genuinely works to remove the enamel from your teeth - so in that way, yes.

*It

No. I asked my dentist and she said absolutely not - it just scrapes your teeth. I have been drinking SO much tea since WFH and a good scale and polish last month had my teeth looking super-white again!

Best stuff is white glo toothpaste, use the brush that comes with it. I only use it to remove stains so maybe monthly

Absolutely not - it’s an abrasive and is just peeling off a layer of enamel!

I’ve heard brushing your teeth with neat coconut oil or gargling with it helps but I haven’t tried. I’m a big fan of a deep clean from the hygienist though - haven’t been for a year and hope she can still work miracles when I do see her.

I go to the hygienist regularly but I can’t give up my coffee habit so unfortunately I need something that removes stains inbetween appointments.

Definitely try the white glo then, it shifts my tea stains habit!

I’ll do that! Thank yiu
