Smart/ nice jumpers with skirts for work

Work is freeeeeeezing and I need to wear layers. I have a few nice skirts but not enough jumper variety to go with them. I don’t like wearing cardigans (don’t know why!).
I’ve been searching (half heartedly I suppose) for ages. Can you recommend any where to look. Under around £40 as I’ll need more than one.

I find a skinny polo neck under anything keeps me a lot warmer. It also means you can layer up some not warm tops that you might already have.
Marksies have some thermal ones in at the mo...I've just seen them on their website.

Mango or Boden (sales)?

The perfect cardigan to wear with a skirt is so hard to find

Jumper , not cardigan *

Uniqlo.
But yes M&S’s skinny ribbed polos are good, affordable, wash well and come in a range of colours.

H&M also well worth a look - they used to do good cable knits and have a huge choice although my initially lovely polyester/acrylics from there have bobbled badly.

Nearly New Cashmere - secondhand cashmere for around £40. Will keep you much warmer than any kind of acrylic and better for the environment. I’ve got two jumpers from there and they arrived beautifully clean and fresh. Otherwise depending on your size try men’s merino wool jumpers - much cheaper and better quality than women’s. Even ASOS do them and they don’t do many wool jumpers for women.

Merino from uniqlo

Thanks.
I am very close to clicking ‘pay’ for the three jumpers I’ve put in my basket from nearly new cashmere...

3 gorgeous cashmere jumpers arrived today from nearlynewcashmere. Thanks for the recommendation @MaryLennoxsScowl
I’m a bit nervous about washing them and worried about sweaty armpits, but other than that excited about wearing them.

Someone else on here gave me the tip first - just passing it forward! I wash mine in the wool wash and dry flat and they’re fine so far! And I’m more comfortable risking cashmere I’ve paid £40 for that something in the £100+ range!
