Where to sell vintage clothes

I've got a few pieces of vintage clothing I would like to sell. In normal life I would go to my local vintage store and see if they would buy it / trade for store credit. But obviously this isn't possible at the moment.

I want as easy an option as possible while not selling for pennies (I paid 50/60 a piece and some I've had a decade or more).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

eBay is probably your best bet

Vinted or some of the vintage/retro Facebook groups.

Thanks both.

I've never used vinted, I'll check it out.

eBay - do I measure, photograph and then pack up and fake to the post office to weight up for postage before listing? Stupid question but I've not sold anything on there before!

You can do yes. Or guess the postage or weigh at home and price up online. Word of warning if your an eBay novice. You get some a hole buyers and if they paid through PayPal they usually give them a refund from you and there's not a lot you can do about it.

I would personally hang on to them. Thing's will open up soon. Sell them then

Thank you - I'll do that!

Most of it is a (modern) 14. I do have a couple of pieces I wore as a size 10 back when that was a 36 though, which is a size 8 now, I think?

I need pics of anything that may fit! Obviously I will help you with vinted as a thank you to letting me see first Grin

Be warned that on Ebay people expect rock bottom prices and there are a lot of scammers on there waiting to trap Ebay novices. With our draconian consumer laws you are better selling online through Facebook groups and the like.

So I tried Depop, purely as it seemed the easiest to use and set up. I sold one item but nothing else. Do any of you know if there are companies that will sell on your behalf on eBay? I have about 30 items to clear and it would be such a shame to throw them out (60s wool suit! Silk dresses!) But the need to go and charity isn't open :(
