Mascara help please!

I work 12.5 hour NHS shifts. I have very blonde, fine eyelashes. I do normally get them dyed but obviously not at the moment.
I am looking for a black waterproof mascara that won't give me spider legs on my eyelids, won't run and stay put all day...under full PPE. It also needs to be easy to apply as I'm not good without my glasses and am not great at applying make up.
Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?
Can anyone help me please?

Clinique high impact waterproof mascara does not budge at all. I use it under full ppe and never had a problem with smudging or running.

No7 Stay Perfect in the gold tube. It's a tubing mascara do doesn't budge until you wash your face - there are no waxes etc to melt or run. The brush is small so it gives a very natural look.

DobbleDobble · 13/02/2021 22:05

I second Clinique but it’s called lash power.

I tried stay perfect no7 last year as a clinque alternative but under ppe it failed.Lash power didn’t Grin

Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof. I was having trouble with smudging while wearing a mask but this doesn’t budge!

AnotherFuckingUsername · 13/02/2021 22:09

Another vote for No7 Stay Perfect in gold tube. Worn it up Munro's in all weathers, in the pool and with sun lotion - it doesn't budge until taken off properly. Plus, goes on nicely without clumpage.

CushionsandCandles · 13/02/2021 22:14

I also have to wear full PPE- FFP3 mask and face shield for long shifts. I can confirm the No7 gold tube mascara mentioned above stays put!

Benefit - They’re Real is absolutely amazing!

Lifechange2020 · 14/02/2021 07:25

I have tried all the expensive mascaras out there but always come back to Rimmel!

SpeckledyHen · 14/02/2021 07:30

Clinique lash power

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 14/02/2021 07:44

Another vote for Clinique, although the waterproof Lancôme ones are also very good and don't move.

TornadoOfSouls · 14/02/2021 08:00

Yes Clinique Lash power. It stays on and is non-irritating. Doesn’t give much oomph but I don’t want that anyway.

Rayna37 · 14/02/2021 08:05

What you need is what's known as a "tubing" mascara. Clinique Lash Power is good (and is what I'm currently using) but for me Estée Lauder Double Wear is slightly better and I keep going back to it.

TonkinLenkicks · 14/02/2021 10:11

Tarte- lights camera lashes. I look it and makes my lashes look like extensions without having spider eyes iyswim

FuckingHateRats · 14/02/2021 10:20

Tubing mascara - I use No7 stay perfect but am tempted to try the Clinique one after all the recommendations!

Damfino · 14/02/2021 13:19

another vote for Clinique lash power

DobbleDobble · 14/02/2021 15:15

@FuckingHateRats I tried no7 on recommendations here, it was ok, but because I’d been using clinque lash power for few years, when I tried the no7 one it wasn’t a touch on the clinque.I also found no7 clumpy and if you work with ppe, it came off with condensation .
Once you try clinque I don’t think you go back Grin

ButNotTonight20 · 14/02/2021 15:21

I've recently bought Clinique lash power and sorry to say it still smudges under ppe. Having said that it is performing much better than my normal benefit rollergal mascara was.

DeeDimer · 14/02/2021 15:29

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. Online shopping here I come!!

Dye your own, it's really easy xx

I disagree with you and all the others. I get hideous spiders legs all over my eyelids and below my eyes with this one, I had such high hopes for it too.
AColdDuncanGoodhew · 15/02/2021 13:52

Clinique high impact
Benefit theyre real
Hourglass caution

StepOutOfLine · 15/02/2021 13:57

Dior Pump and Volume
I have rabbit with flu eyelashes, this is the only mascara that gives me long, thick lashes in one coat and doesn't smudge. I discovered it when my boss came back after lunch and I thought she'd been for salon extensions/tint. Nope, just tried P&V

I have tried:
Clinique High Impact
Lancome Hypnose
Every Boots one ever brought out
Maybelline iconic pink tube thing
Benefit They're Real (might as well wipe that straight down my face as that's where it ended up)
Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk

None a patch on P&V.
