Black Opium for men ?

Just that really, I have a male friend who always steals a squirt of my Black Opium or used to anyway pre covid.

His birthday is coming up soon, do you think it would be odd if I bought him a bottle?

Ooh, that's an interesting thought. I love Black Opium, DH doesn't really like perfume at all and never wears aftershave or anything like that, but I can imagine it smelling good on a man. And if this guy's been using yours already, you know how it will react on him.

If you know he already likes it, it’s a good shout.

DH has been known to wear Opium (the original, not Black), Angel and Chanel No.19 so we’re all for ignoring gender marketing in this house.
