Has anybody had veneers in recent times? I have always been unhappy with crooked, gappy teeth and after hitting my tooth and after the final straw of chipping it a couple of weeks ago, decided to go ahead with veneers just on my two front teeth to solve all these issues. My teeth aren't suitable for invisalign.
One tooth needed more prep than the other as it was crooked, and then the dentist put an acrylic temporary on. The acrylic looks fine but I have a gentle tooth ache in the tooth that was more prepared. It's been exactly 4 days since the procedure.
Has anyone who has had veneers lately had a toothache with the temps on? I'm trying to decide if I need to go back to the dentist and have the tooth ache checked out before the porcelain veneers are put on...or if a tooth ache is normal considering the drilling/shaving part of the procedure. I don't have sensitivity to hot and cold and can eat and drink normally.
