I'm hurtling towards 60 and after a lifetime of oily skin am now in possession of dry and a bit itchy skin that just can't get enough moisture. It's particularly irritating around my eyes/just below eyebrows

I don't have piles of cash to spend but are there any recommendations for something that will relieve the dryness/keep me comfortable for longer than a few hours. I'm not fussed about getting rid of wrinkles or looking younger and I stay out of the sun

I'm 58 and my skin has got so dry over lockdown. I've tried lots, including the REN Evercalm range which is usually my Go To but nothing was working. I've just gone back to L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Renew serum, day cream with spf and night cream and L'Oreal Age Perfect eye cream. It feels better today than it has done in a while so keeping fingers crossed.

Nivea Q10 is very gentle and non greasy. About £6 a pot if you look for where it's on offer (it's always on offer somewhere!)

I swear by Cerave cream for very dry skin
At 56 my skin has never looked better!

Astral!

I’ve discovered I need lanolin.

Have used Weleda Skin Food Light since last month and have found to be great on my skin. I’m early 50’s and have to be careful as some creams have reacted badly.
It has quite a strong smell but it’s a ‘natural’ smell as opposed to perfumed IYSWIM.

Many thanks for all the advice - one problem I've found is that some creams can sting when they're got accidentally in the eyes. But lots of ideas

I live v near an Aldi and their Q10 night cream seems to be working well at the moment
