Hair dye disaster !!

I've thrown the baby out with the bath water and instead of dyeing my roots subtly have made my hair look like morticia!! It was dark brown before and I chose a natural dark brown dye to cover the grey roots but ended up dyeing the whole lot! Not only that but my hair is now flyaway and greasy looking Grin anyone suggestions ???!!!!

Wash it in washing up liquid. Then deep condition. It will get some dye out. But a salon would be the best bet. :(

Wash it several times with Head and Shoulders shampoo and hot water. Even a permanent dye will lift out and fade if you do this as soon as you can after dying it.

Then embrace it. Try more make up and lipstick if the dark colour is draining your face.

For future reference, dark brown hair dye always comes out too black. Go for a mid or light brown. If you don't like red tones, choose an ash brown shade.

Hopefully you'll get used to your new darker colour. A woolly hat is always an option Wink

Ah sorry about your sister, this is just the sort of situation where I'd be on the phone wailing to my sister Flowers

I've been there when you take the towel off your head in the bathroom, glance in the mirror and think Oh shit!
Don't worry it will fade. Smile

Bash up vitamin c tablets and mix with head & shoulders-apply and leave for half hour.
Should fade it nicely-I made same mistake last year and had 3 days of doing this before it faded!
