Esalon v boxed colour?

My hair is sadly neglected due to the current restrictions and I've significant re-growth. I'm wavering between a boxed semi-permanent colour or esalon. Has anyone used e salon and are they any good?

I've been using esalon for over a year now. Pre covid I was finding it hard to get to a salon- single mum of a toddler. I have dark blonde/auburn hair and they've done a brilliant job of matching it. I also have thick curly hair and it doesn't make my hair feel dry.

I didn't like eSalon. I had a bright copper blonde colour and asked them to match it, ended up with a muddy brown colour. Had to strip it out and recolour with L'Oréal box dye.
