Warm socks please!

I'm after some really warm socks to wear with my wellies so my toes don't feel like they are going to drop off.

I second M&S. If you’ve space in your wellies, the bed socks are lush.

Splash out on some merino or alpaca wool socks. They last forever and are a dream for your feet. I could wear mine 24/7 quite happily!

Real wool socks are the best, my favourites are the wool/silk mix ones from john lewis.

I got a 5 pack of Nordic Socks from Dh for Christmas. He saw the advert on Facebook then googled. I don't know what they are made of but they are warm and comfortable without being too thick.

Merino!

I wear a thin pair of silk socks under my normal walking socks. Seems to work and means you don't need to wash your walking socks every time. Silk socks can be rinsed by hand.

Corrymoor mohair socks are the mutt's nuts! Warm, not itchy (promise) and never ever smell, even if you wear them for several days. Not cheap, but the best, and they last for several years.

We just got some Nordic socks and they are very warm. On the coldest days particularly if I'm wearing wellies I wear a pair of thin Uniqlo heat tech sock underneath them as wellies don't keep your feet warm at all!
