What clothes are you wearing over and over?

I’ve got tons of clothes but every day I go for black jeans and loose black jumper with a vest or top underneath for warmth.

Nowhere to go but presentable if I need to answer the door or put the bins out or pop to the shops.

When it’s in the wash it’s black joggers and blue jumper. More or less the same day in day out!

Mainly skinny jeans and rollneck jumpers - although very occasionally a rollneck and pinafore dress. I'm currently working from home online and my job consists of a lot of video calls, so I have to keep reasonably presentable - although my look has gone far more down the casual road than it would be in my actual workplace !

Heyahun · 10/02/2021 22:25

I’m 38 weeks pregnant now - and have lived in maternity leggings and a few massive T-shirt’s and a hoody!

Have some lovely maternity jeans and stuff but have nowhere to go so haven’t been wearing them!

Can’t zip my cosy up when it’s go out - but also didn’t want to invest in a maternity one - so just have to bulk up with a big scarf if I’m out for a walk 😂😂

LongHotSummerJustPassedMeBy · 10/02/2021 22:28

Fleece lined leggings
Sheepskin slippers
Thermal top
Jumper
Hoodie, cardigan, poncho, or fleece over the top if cold

I don't know whether I will ever be able to wear skinny jeans again!

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 10/02/2021 22:29

Uniqlo heat tech scoop next top and leggings, with my oversized black cashmere cardigan on top. Plus warm socks and slippers.

If I have to do a Zoom call, I'll put on a nicer top. And I wear actual jeans for my weekly trip to the supermarket!

ParkheadParadise · 10/02/2021 22:29

Leggings
Jeggings
Hoodies
T-shirts
Jammies
Puffa jacket, trainers or boots (outside)

Imissmoominmama · 10/02/2021 22:35

Either walking leggings (thermal) or bamboo jeans, with a variety of merino base layers and over layers. Bamboo socks, woolly hat and trail runners or shiny red boots. Coats are either a Rab microfleece or a slightly longer Paramo waterproof.

I’m going for warm functionality these days.

ginandwineandbaileys · 11/02/2021 00:41

I wear an assortment of leggings, either Sweaty Betty powers, or the all day leggings depending on how I feel. I sometimes change into joggers after my workout. I have a very old Nike hoody, or a black Sweaty Betty fleece hoodie - both of which I'm tired of wearing and have ordered two new hoodies and a sweatshirt from Sweaty Betty. If I have to talk online, I'll either put on a v neck cashmere sweater, earrings and makeup, or a frilly collared blouse with earrings.

My current favourite thing is a huge Borg sweatshirt thing I got from Whistles in the 20% off offer.

ginandwineandbaileys · 11/02/2021 00:43

Oh yes, and I dug out my tall uggs, and bought short uggs to wear with joggers.
My long puffa for going out, with either uggs on my feet, or DMs

Rina66 · 11/02/2021 05:03

Knitted loungewear in Navy, Black, Khaki or Grey with matching long cardigans - would dearly love to wear pale pink, cream or oatmeal but my legs aren’t up to that sort of exposure!
Magic trousers in faux leather, thin cord or cotton with shorter v neck jumpers
Leggings with long jumpers or long sweat shirts
Skinnies (a size bigger) with a vest top and shacket
Fluffy, fleecey or thick knitted socks with rubber bits on the bottom for indoors Trainers, dainty-ish biker boots or my Vivienne Westwood ankle height wellies with a bow - so old but great in the rain for outdoors

AwkwardSquad · 11/02/2021 06:15

Thermal fleece-lined tights and two pairs of thick socks, Hush harden pants or similar, cloth bralet, thermal long-sleeved top, jumper, cardigan, scarf, blanket over knees and heating pad for feet. Sometimes a jumper dress as my top layer. My WFH work space is bloody freezing so I wear what I need to to stay warm and to hell with appearances. I’m always clean and dressed, and for ten hours a day in a fridge, that’ll have to do.

AwkwardSquad · 11/02/2021 06:15

*harem not harden ...

BobbinThreadbare123 · 11/02/2021 08:06

I basically wear the metal/goth version of lounge wear. Black leggings/gym tights, band hoodie with a band t-shirt under it. Big fluffy socks (some of these are purple) and slippers. I do have to dress for a couple of day per week in the office but it's still all black and if it can have a stretchy waist, so much the better. It's that bloody cold here that the fluffy socks are included!

StCharlotte · 11/02/2021 08:46

But yeah, I’m like morticia in lounge wear

That really made me laugh Grin

In this weather I've been in various combinations of Ugg ankle boots, leggings, long tops, long length thick cardigan. Can't remember the last time I went out and don't have video meetings for work. I hate it.

But I've had a bit of a spree lately so once it's warmed up a bit I'll be in dresses and tights again because I love getting dressed properly.

MrsBobDylan · 11/02/2021 10:56

I love the loungewear Morticia image!

The thing I wear everyday is slippers. My 3 dogs love them and have eaten the last two pairs. I expect my feet to resemble paddles by the time this is over.

Otherwise it's a pair of baggy jeans and a Breton top/sweatshirt.

I am boring myself and can't wait to wear something more exciting.

MrsBobDylan · 11/02/2021 10:57

Also, those not wearing bras, so jealous as you clearly have boobs which are still above your waistline.

BikeRunSki · 11/02/2021 10:57

I’m pretty much rotating 3 wool jumpers and 3 pairs of jeans in various combos.

StCharlotte · 11/02/2021 12:30

Grin Yeah.

I forgot to put on a bra yesterday and when I sat down to start working it felt all kinds of wrong so I had to put one on.

I'm a little more, er, free range at the weekends though.

VanillaAndOrange · 11/02/2021 12:42

I wear a lot of different clothes as it is kind of my hobby to play around with my image, and lockdown is a good opportunity to indulge it. If anything I'm more adventurous when I'm only going to see DH than if I'm at work and will be seen by customers. I often wear A-line midi skirts and short cardigans, or jeans and colourful jumpers (although I feel smarter and just generally better when I wear more black). I always wear a bra of some sort (and thanks to a tip I read on here not long ago I now have some beautifully fitting bras), but if my top isn't very fitted it might sometimes be a crop top or bralette. I don't wear leggings much unless I'm running, but I might sometimes wear them with a dress as an alterative to tights on really cold days.

QueenPaw · 11/02/2021 12:47

Attractive leggings like these
Woolovers merino jumper
Vest
Padded gilet
WFH and it's cold!

poppyt91 · 15/02/2021 13:55

Im 28 weeks pregnant now, and have been living in base layers such as leggings and cami tops, layered up under some cotton tops and cardigans from H&M and New Look. I found a seamless maternity range online called The Body Bump who have a maternity range which is super comfortable. I honestly couldn't live without the pieces i've bought and its great to know they can be worn post-partum too. x

Purplecatshopaholic · 15/02/2021 14:06

For the record, I am normally pretty smart. Heels, make up, underwear…. Don’t really bother with any of that just now. I have leggings and tee shirts on rolling repeat, with thicker layers to put on top for dog walking. Occasionally I make more of an effort - I really need to go to the post office this week - yippee!

Dyinghouseplant · 15/02/2021 14:08

Zara hoodies and sweatshirts
Black leggings (I was never a legging person before covid!)
Slip on Vans when the weather allows

manyhorror · 15/02/2021 14:15

Cashmere joggers and about 4 soft jumpers on rotate, wear them 3-4 days with a vest top underneath then wash. When the soft joggers are in the wash (about weekly Blush) I wear cotton joggers till they're dry. If I go out I put skinny jeans and a bra on till I come home.

Reading this back I'm not sure what I've become or how I'm going to readjust to the world.

ParisJeTAime · 15/02/2021 14:20

At the minute, Uniqlo or M&S jeggings, Seasalt Towpath boots, Uniqlo long sleeved tee and lambswool v neck jumper. That is my cold weather uniform! I'm branching out a bit as the weather improves! Cannot wait till summer when I plan to wear dresses all the time.

Smileyoriley · 15/02/2021 14:24

I've bought some lounge/sportswear combos from Tu/ M&S etc which I occasionally pair with a jumper if it's cold, topped off with a variety of coats if I have to go out. I have slobbed through the winter and am going to have to hit the gym big time when they open and live on salad for months to fit into normal clothes. I then intend to put my horrible comfy clothes into the nearest clothes recycling bank!
