What do you use to curl your bob?

I have a messy bob for the first time ever after a lifetime of long hair. Game Changer! Never going back!

But I want the option of having a wavy curly look. No clue what tools to look at. All seem far too big for shorter hair.

Any recs? I presume I need to look for smaller barrel things???

I have a bob. The hairdresser always uses straighteners to get messy waves. I've tried it at home and end up with a Brillo pad. They make it look easy.
