Post-pregnancy jeans

After having a baby, I've lost some of (but not all) the weight around my midriff. But the huge issue is that I have a bit of a flabby stomach, almost like excess skin (sorry all) after a weigh loss which I guess is normal after childbirth but looks terrible. All the jeans I have cling over the stomach and seem to accentuate it. Recently got a mid-rise, straight leg pair which fitted well on hips, thighs and bum but my stomach looked awful. Are there any jeans which skim over the tummy and are a bit more flattering? What kind of style should I be looking for?

Anyone else have this problem??

Bumping for you as I am having the same issue. No clue where to even start!

I've literally come on here for advice with the exact same issue. I normally live in skinny jeans which seem to pull my stomach in but tried a pair of girlfriend jeans (Mint Velvet Melrose) after an online personal shopping session at JL in an effort to get with the times. They are nice however they just bulge massively over my lower stomach and if anything make it look even bigger (I have c/section overhang). I thought I wouldn't have this issue with high-rise jeans but it feels as if they are cut with extra room for my belly to bulge into.

I'd also really appreciate any recs for high-rise/straight jeans that can suck in your belly, if such a thing exists Or would a smaller size work?

Bumping this as I can’t believe there are jeans that would work in this situation!

I had this problem too! I didn't find an answer unfortunately. However, my sticky out tummy is much less pronounced now and I haven't lost weight. It just went away after a couple of years.

I haven't got a flat tummy or anything, but my shape is back to what it was before, which was always curvy and squidgy. But the really pronounced CS belly did go away eventually.

I think high rise made mine look worse. I suite mid rise GF jeans. I sized up and rolled them up and think they still looked nice, even though they weren't the right fit on the legs. I traded comfort over the tummy for the perfect fit on the legs.

I’m not post pregnancy but I find jeans annoying due to fitting issues and I can’t understand the styles. Wonder if jeggings are any good for you? I used Dorothy Perkins ones in a size up and got good wear out of them. I’ve heard M&S jeggings are good. I just can’t be bothered with buying and then returning if they don’t fit at the moment. The M&S skinny jeans also don’t look to be as stingy with the sizing. I’m no expert however!

So I gave in and tried the seraphine post maternity jeans. I'm 11 weeks pp. They are surprisingly comfy - once you've pulled them up!
