Alex Monroe necklace re-plating

I have an Alex monroe necklace that I haven’t worn for a few years as the plating dulled and wore off after about 2 years of daily wearing

I’m thinking of sending it in for replating but they don’t give a cost until they’ve assessed it

Has anyone had the service done before and could share how much it costs so I can decide if it’s worth it?

I probably should have got it in solid

I’ve just noticed it’s £1800 in solid gold so never would have been able to buy that anyway

I used to work in a jewellers. It was £25 to replate a ring about a 10 years ago so I don't think it will be cheap.

I've looked online at Alex Munroe jewellery and I think you might be looking at about half the price to maybe just under what you originally paid for it, but it depends where you're looking. Where you originally bought it from would possibly cost more than if you took it to an independent jewellers.
