What boots would go with these?

Hi, I've just bought these trousers on a whim as I'm sick of living in jeans! They're totally different to anything I own or have ever worn before but I like the 'look.'

Please help me find some boots or trainery things that would set this look off!

Doc Martens?

I think any trainers would go as well

I'd put doc martens too. I'd also think chunky trainers would work. Basically nothing too light or delicate as the proportions would be funny I'd feel. I dk think the trousers are fab.

Ooo I've never actually owned a pair of doc martens (45 yo ) - I've always thought my skinny legs would look ridiculous in them!

I got some for Christmas and I love them!! I still wear 3 pairs of stocks they take a while to break in
