Talk to me about Tinted moisturiser/BB/CC creams

With lockdown and WFH, I can't be arsed putting on a full face of makeup. Problem is I look awful without it on. And feel miserable about it. So I want something that takes minimum effort in the morning but makes me look human. I'm thinking a bit of tinted moisturiser, some mascara and drawing my eyebrows on will work.

But I want a decent tinted moisturiser. I'm 40. Have a very oily T zone and still prone to spots around TOTM. I'm not too worried about wrinkles right now, but I do have very dark under eye circles. I'm also very pale, so don't want anything too dark or orange.
I currently use L'Oréal Revitalift day and eye cream which does help 'lift' around my eyes.

So, please recommend me a good, not too greasy or heavy tinted moisturiser that is going to actually help my skin instead of just covering everything up. Preferably for under £30. Grin

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel comes in loads of different colours, and I really like it.

I read this thread yesterday morning and decided to buy the Seamagik BB cream that so many people recommended. It arrived this morning (super fast delivery!) and I love it. It light, provides some coverage and also blends really well. I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this. Thanks everyone!

I’m early 40s OP. I splash my face with water only in the morning. I put on a dab of vitamin C serum followed by a light moisturiser. I then use Trinny London BFF Destress which is a great tinted moisturiser/foundation, takes seconds to apply with fingers. A dot of cream blusher, Vaseline on the lips and I’m away.

On days when I want to make more effort I brush my eyebrows, curl my eyelashes and wear mascara - only a quick lick though, not the layer upon layer that some people do.

Eyeshadow and lip colour is for nights out only. So, never!

Look into Trinny London, watch her videos on Instagram.

I like the sound of the Seamagik. I hate buying full sizes of something like this unseen though.

Why not just mix a little bit of foundation with your normal moisturiser? That’s all BB/CC cream is. Waft a bit of powder over your T-zone, little bit of eyeliner, mascara and a reddish lip balm/gloss and you’re good to go.

Which is exactly what I am going to do @Wiredforsound.
