Hi , which body lotion do you use ? I’m looking for one that isn’t too heavy & absorbs I love Clarins but it’s very pricy

Watching for daytime lotions with interest, but in the evenings I use Johnsons baby night time lotion. Its light, dries quickly and leaves the faintest soothing scent for sleep

I like the Clinique one not as dear as Clarins

I use Soap & Glory Sugar Crush which smells of lime and watermelon and has AHAs in it to exfoliate. It's lush!

I generally find others much of a muchness, regardless of price, so just get one I like the smell of.

Body shop body butter

I use Palmers cocoa butter with Q10. Love the smell and it does the trick. Cheap too!

I used to use St Ives but that brand seems to have vanished. Now I use Neutrogena unscented.

The Scottish Fine Soaps - Au Lait rose body butter.
Smells divine, not too rich but feels luxurious.

Boots own Coconut is lovely but I can’t find it anymore so switched to Nivea Cocoa Radiant and it is sooo nice. I’ve used more expensive ones in the past but any with cocoa butter in I find are brill.

I like Cera Ve lotion: it absorbs easily enough to get dressed soon after applying.
Like the richer Cera Ve cream to put on before bed.

I really like the Sanctuary Spa wet skin moisture miracle, the pink one, white lily & damask rose. It’s so light, you apply it to soaking wet skin once you’ve turned the shower off - no rinse, you just towel dry with it on your skin so it’s great for getting dressed straight after and not leaving greasy marks on your clothes. Smells gorgeous, I think there’s 3 versions?

I really wanted to like the Sanctuary moisture miracle one but it just seemed to prolong the 'wet and cold' feeling standing around in the shower, and I couldn't get my head around the idea that it wouldn't all just wipe off on my towel?

I use the Palmers coco butter solid in a jar. It hydrates my skin really well, you do need to let it soak in for a few minutes though.

Altruist, think it’s about a fiver on Amazon.

@PatNextDoor - I cheat a bit, I’m damp when I put it on, not soaking as it instructs, then wrap my towel round me and brush my teeth while it soaks/air drys in.
