Bras.... how can I stop them falling off my shoulders?

I buy good bras and have them fitted from Bravissimo. They fit nicely and look good... but within hours of wearing them they slip off my shoulders. It’s so annoying! I am larger and have 36GG/H . I like Fantasie bras as they don’t come up so high under my armpits ( another problem) and they are brilliant apart from slipping off my shoulders! That’s even with straps tight and correct. I have had other makes too such as bravissimo own etc. I must have narrow shoulders! Can anyone offer suggestions please?

I'm the same. I have to make the straps are tight. You should only be able to lift them a Cm or so up from your shoulders

I can't keep strappy tops on my shoulders either Angry

Placemarking because I have the same problem. I tried sewing the straps so that they wouldn’t loosen during the day but even that doesn’t help.

I have the same problem. Have you looked at the jenna bra at bravissimo. It is designed for this issue.

You can also get a strap you clip between 2 bra straps, which helps.

M and S do some bras with a rubber line under the bra strap, which helps.

I think you can buy a little gizmo that connects the 2 straps at the back, so if you’re wearing a racing back top you don’t see the straps. Never tried it tho.

I also have narrow shoulders and it’s a pain

I have exactly the same problem and now buy racer back bras . I’ll see if I can find a link .

I bought some of those fastener things off eBay which I thought would solve all my problems.... like a double ended bra strap... which would hold the straps together at the back... but I couldn’t reach the back of me to put them on the bra! You can’t put them in place before you put the bra on either as that makes it like a spiders web and you can’t navigate your head 😂

I use those straps and I've found that if you place them lower on your back you can put your bra on like a top and fasten it behind you. A bit tricky at first but it gets easier

I have this problem too

User0ne · 07/02/2021 13:23

Read the bra fitting guide on the brastop website and stop trusting bravissimo to measure you. Clearly they are getting it wrong.

lordyanothernamechange · 07/02/2021 13:27

I nearly always wear those racer back bras, they're great. I find M&S normal bras OK as the wider straps don't fall down much.

FossilisedFanny · 07/02/2021 13:32

I went to Bravissimo and spent a fortune on bras - the straps still fell down! I have a shoulder injury that makes my shoulder very slopey , racer backs have changed my life!
