Designer crossbody/back pack

I'm decided I cannot go through with more rounds of IVF so I'm going to spend my savings on a nice new bag and save the rest.

I'm looking for a back pack/cross body bag similar to either the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs or the Mulberry Lilly. I have one Mulberry (Bayswater) already but it scratches easy and the colour wore off on the handles so I'm a bit hesitant to try Mulberry again.

The LV back pack is gorgeous but DH said "chav" Blush and has put me off. I'm not really a designer person so I'm not sure on other styles of a similar bags that I can look for?

Sorry to hear you’ve had such a tough time.

Have you looked at Prada?
Are you looking for an everyday bag/backpack? Casual or dressy?

I've got a YSL Lou camera bag with leather strap and black logo which I love. It might be a bit small if you're also looking at a backpack style, but it comes in a medium as well which might suit you better?

I'm sorry you've had a difficult time.

I have a Mulberry mini zipped bayswater which is doing well. My favourite is my darley satchel, but that might be too small? I also love YSL. I've got the all-black small lou lou. Whatever you pick, make sure you regularly use a leather cream, stuff your bag when not in use and store in the dust bag (advice I failed to follow in the past).

Enjoy picking one and using it!

Definitely something more casual rather than dressy. I don't go out anywhere dressy at the best of times Blush

I've looked at Prada but can't see anything that catches my eye... I like traditional, classic styles but I was drawn to the LV backpack... I think because it was so versatile.

I've looked at the the YSL and it's definitely on the list in the bigger size...

What's everyone's thoughts on this bag? Is it a bit barbie-esque?

Thanks for the tips on aftercare, do you recommend a certain leather cream?

For your Mulberry Bayswater, you can get it restored if you’re interested. Another recent thread on this here:
