Grey hair - what colour clothes?

Have just dyed my hair - and it worked! It is a medium grey tone - to ease the transition to my natural shade (well that's the plan).

Aside from black (which suits me and looks good) what other colours really work with grey hair. I can see neutral beiges/taupes aren't going to work anymore but some greys -which I thought would work sort of clash.

I like red lipstick and simple silver jewellery - I don't really like patterns unless they're stripes.

A lot depends on your skin tone too. Grey haired people with Black/olive/pale skin suit different colours.

Sorry should have mentioned. I have pale cool/neutral skin and look washed out in pastels. Not great in pinks of any description- although they may change moving towards my natural colouring from warm brown hair. I have grey/blue eyes and my eyebrows have faded to a taupe colour.

I suit black and can pull off red lipstick. Silver jewellery.

I'd say all blues, purples, reds if your skin can do red lipstick, plus black and white.

When I had my colours done many years ago, I asked how my palette would change when I went grey (as I had dark brown hair) She said the colours are more determined by skin tone so wouldn't change.
There may be some colour consultants come along and say different - will watch with interest as I have been using lockdown to transition to grey (not there yet so can't say if I'm happy with my usual clothes colours)
