Need help with DIY bob tidy up

I have lots and lots of hair and wear it in an asymmetric bob. My hairdresser removes quite a lot of weight through the sides and back. I find I can usually get a couple of months out of it and then all of a sudden it feels heavy and shapeless around the neck. I had it cut last in the 3rd week of Nov and of course no hairdressers are working now in lockdown and no news about personal services reopening yet.

It is driving me mad. I have hairdressing scissors to snip off split ends and a hair razor that I’ve never used before. What’s the best thing for me to do to tidy it up without looking like I’ve done it myself?! Anyone know?

Don’t do it

It’s too advanced a cut

Tie it back? Just for about 2 more months?

Everyone has shit hair by now Grin

Seen some vods where people have made a low ponytail to do it. Could I just pull it back and snip into it (point cut?) to take some weight out?
