Monsoon sizing

Is it true to size?? I ordered a coat in an S, I am size 10 in most shops. Odd time an 8.I am now panicked that Monsoon is very small sized. Has anyone any experience??Will I be able to fit in this (lovely) coat?

I find them to be quite generous usually but I only buy dresses from them!
