Long- line hoody?

I've started to do a bit more walking- trying to get rid of the effects of the past year of lockdown/eating my feelings. I'm approx a size 14, 5ft 4" and I'm struggling to find a hoody long enough to properly cover my bum. Would any of you have any advise please?🙈

You could try searching for 'hoodie dresses' and you'll find things like this

SilverOtter · 05/02/2021 15:40

I have one of these www.junojacks.co.uk/shop/the-breastfeeding-friendly-nursing-hoodie-burgundy/
It's a breastfeeding friendly hoodie but I still wear mine because you can hardly notice the zips (plus could be useful as air vents?🤔) The fleece material is really nice quality too; really soft and stretchy.
I'm actually planning on buying another one in a different colour I like it so much!

larrythelizard · 05/02/2021 15:41

Have a look at what's on Asos's tall range. I'm tall and like a long jumper and get some from here.

Also men's jumpers are often longer

GeidiPrimes · 05/02/2021 15:46

Baukjen do lovely soft organic cotton hoodies. So soft it feels like peach fuzz.

MindBodyChocolate · 05/02/2021 17:46

Ditto Baukjen - they do long line hoodies and sweatshirts. They also have a nice longline jersey top for layering under shorter tops/sweatshirts.

liquoriceallsortfamily · 06/02/2021 11:16

Asda have got lots of them. Try instore if not online xx

AdventureIsWaiting · 06/02/2021 11:20

Another vote for Baukjen. I bought one for this reason and it has a massive pocket on the front for my phone, keys, tissues etc. It's great.

Jedstre · 06/02/2021 11:24

Came on to say Baukjen! If you happen to be a key worker and send them a photo of id they will give you 40% off full price items (long line hoodies are full price currently)

Outwithreason · 06/02/2021 11:31

M&S has one that looks good. Just search for longline hoodie.

Mortigua · 06/02/2021 11:34

Sorry for the loooong link!

OurChristmasMiracle · 06/02/2021 11:42

If you search for long line hoodies they will come up. Or I just buy men’s hoodies

wrinklyelbows · 06/02/2021 11:45

Have a look at Chinga clothing, hoodies are gorgeous

Clickncollect · 06/02/2021 13:09

Lol, I came on to say Baukjen and multiple posters have already suggested them!

Weatherwax · 06/02/2021 13:21

Wow Baukjen are pricey, just looked! I second my own Tog24 recommendation!!

Bloodhoundgang · 06/02/2021 13:34

@Weatherwax they are lovely. Must not buy any more SB inspired stuff though this month 🤣

I came on to say Nike mens hoodies. I always have a cold bum so I live in some of these, one of which is 16 years old and still awesome. Womens hoodies, and tops in general are a little cropped for my liking these days.

MindBodyChocolate · 06/02/2021 13:51

Baukjen are pricey but it is good quality and I’ve got jersey tops from there that are well over 6 years old and still looking good. Having said that it’s also a place that I never buy from full price - there’s always a code with at least 10% off floating around.

afrikat · 06/02/2021 14:08

Superdry do nice longline ones. I just bought an oversized hoodie from monki which I love too

Onynx · 06/02/2021 20:06

Thank you all so much! Some great ideas that I would never have thought of :-) Those Baukjen ones are gorgeous & the Chinga ones @wrinklyelbows. I'm in Ireland so I'll have to see which companies will deliver to here but loads to chose from xx

Hush for something plain, soft and lovely.

Urban Outfitters for something cool.

Bloodhoundgang · 07/02/2021 16:46

Ah, Gym +Coffee then. They're an Irish company, their hoodies area good length.
Gymshark deliver to Ireland too.
Not convinced Asda will at the min. Tried to send Christmas presents to Ireland and it wouldn't deliver then.

Onynx · 07/02/2021 21:03

@Bloodhoundgang the whole thing is a bit of a disaster at the moment and nobody seems to know what they are doing. Import taxes are being charged for some deliveries and not for others and different courier companies to be randomly applying charges with no breakdown of costs or reasoning. Hopefully it will settle soon.

H&M do a good range but my favourite is their hooded dress . A long line hoodie with a non-ribbed hem. £14.99 .
Both my adult DDs have them and I have 2 . We bought the lighter colours and scrunch dyed them .
