Do firming creams work

Hi all x I've turned 40 and I've noticed that my skin isn't like it use to be!! Does anyone use firming cream and does it work!?

how could such a thing work? Beauty products always have loads of carefully written babble about 'helps improve appearance'. This actually means 'does nothing except waste your money'.

I'm near 40.
Skin is diet and lifestyle at our age.

Drink lots of water, wear sunscreen daily, even when it's raining (I wear factor 50), don't go to sleep with make up on, don't smoke, don't drink excessively, get enough sleep. I'd say those are the most important things to maximise your skin. Products come in second place IMO.

They work superficially and temporarily.

Sunscreen spf50 every day (and separate from your moisturizer)
Vit C serum
Retinol
An acid (probably glycolic)

Will make much more difference.
