Very slim son with long legs, help getting joggers to fit

Hi my 14 year old ds s 6 foot and 28 waist .he has one pair champion joggers that fit and not much else that does.
I asked in the sport shops before lock down
If you got longer length joggers but I was told no I'd need to go up to a medium?
Now shops closed and ds desperately need clothes. Any ideas if the sales assistance was correct or any idea if I can get size with longer length legs? I've looked online but can't find anything Tia

I've never seen any longer leg options so have always gone up 2 years with adjustable waists - bit unfortunate as they are always scrunched tight round his waist but at least they're not biting his ankles. Annoyingly he also will only wear joggers so can't look at 'proper' trousers

If you look in the joggers section on ASOS you can filter by 'fit' as 'tall' for those that come in a longer length - hope you find something suitable :)

My DS is a shortarse (well, exactly average height & long waisted). If it helps, H&M or scandi brands are always way too long and skinny on him so might work better for you? DS is younger though.

My 13 year old DS is 6 foot,.I dont know his waist size but it literally couldn't be any skinnier or his internal organs would have no where to go! He wears small mens Nike and Adidas track pants but has them pulled down low on his hips so the length looks ok, if he wore them properly they would be too short. He tried medium mens but said they were too baggy round the bum.

My ds is 14, 6'3 and very slim. I just got him some of the Next joggers (both slim and skinny fit) in long and they are a really good fit

I wish I knew this too - 6'2" 14 year old with a 28" waist in this house. He wears superdry but they fall down...

M&S doing them in their tall range.

I have always found M&S don’t do small waists.

River Island do small waists and a variety of leg lengths (up to 34 inch with 28 inch waist).

Ah some fab ideas here, I just wish DS would wear things that don't have Nike or Adidas written all over them

H&M do very good long and skinny joggers but not branded, ok for lounging at home though

FatFace XS for my DS, and IIRC, there's a leg length option too.

But only grey marl I think.

It's such a difficult age. The Next slim mens joggers in XS/S are quite long in the leg. Next have been our standby for slim waist school trousers too.

These are long enough to cover the ankles of 6' 3 DS & they do a small.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions . He won't even entertain M&S he's way to cool for that 😂 . Will look at next he has next jeans in age 15 and they fit . He lives in joggers and champion is his favourite brand .

I have this nightmare, I have bought him some from ASOS which are women’s size 10 tall (but don’t tell him)!
He has one pair of Nike tall size s that are even a bit long but good for school pe as they are totally black (the uniform ones are too short).

Next are good for slim waist with long legs.

I think Nike sell joggers in tall. My ds has been 6ft something since he was 14, he was very slender, I think I used to be from h&m.

M and S are huge by the way

Yes DH is 6'3" and the tall range and actually there is a little spare length- not sure if his legs are average length of his height thought. Standard are def too short though.
