What’s going on with Baukjen

I used to love her pieces. Lovely little jersey dresses with clever draping - great for work, could dress them up or down. And now! ‘Cover the bum’ tops, boring fleeces (perfectly fine of course, just not for me) - there’s literally not a thing I would wear anymore. Such a shame.

Have they adapted the collection for lockdown maybe?

I quite like Baukjen at the moment, though I think a wider selection of colours in the plain tops would be good. I'm happy to see longer tops, too.

Agree I think they've adapted for lockdown. Longer tops to cover the bum when worn with yoga pants etc.

I've had some good shirts and basic tops from there recently. Agree the new collection is a bit samey, but it's the times we live in.

I totally agree OP, I usually love it and haven’t found anything I like at all this year- it’s so disappointing.
The dresses they do have are all either floaty skirted or have really odd necklines.
I live in the old jersey style dresses. Bring back the old baukjen!!

I have some lovely stuff from Baukjen. I only discovered them last Autumn. I can’t see anything I like in their Spring range though. The dresses are awful, with nothing to redeem them IMO

I’ve bought quite a few of their loungewear pieces recently. Love their key worker discount.

I miss them too. It's so pricey now as well.

I've bought their Abbey leggings in two colour ways. My first leggings and I love them. Great for going to work- I wear scrubs so have to get changed at work.
I also love the longer-line sweatshirts. What's not to like? I'm 5'8" and love longer-length tops.
But had to return the Raffi blouse, just didn't suit me. The Enna top has just arrived and very disappointing. It's just jersey, leopard print. I wanted it for going out to dinner etc, it's very casual.
I really like their stuff, and think some of the dresses look lovely?

Yes, definitely gone down the loungewear market, I find that quite disappointing as I still go to work and like to dress nicely. I've bought the same trousers as I bought last year but in a different colour. Amazingly all their stock seems to be on pre-order, I guess the smaller selection leads to less waste.

It has been very mumsy for about 2 years now and the main colours for theor collections have become more and more odd. I used to buy quite a bit but wouldn't touch it now.

2-3 years ago , 80% of my wardrobe was Baukjen, including some lovely leather pieces. These days it’s all just very nothingy.

I still love the jersey tops and hope they go back to their amazing jersey range. Agree the current dresses do nothing for me.
But I love there quality so won’t give up on them

Their focus has changed - I remember all the jersey dresses that they started with - and over the past 3 years or so, I’ve bought loads of stuff from them. The quality is excellent and they make a effort with sustainability.

However, the most recent collection has left me a bit cold... nothing’s jumping out at me and I hope they start to reintroduce some non-loungewear soon. I love jersey trousers and a longline hoodie as much as anyone but I’m definitely reaching saturation point.

I really like this jacket, but the price Ouch! Fortunately, I have a 40% NHS discount, but it still seems a bit high.

Tempnamelady I had forgotten about the leather - I have a beautiful green leather skirt from them. Nothing like that now though - just shapeless loungewear in manky colours. You would think that as Baukjen is a redhead they'd have something in the collection that suits one!
