Longchamp Le Pliage as a work bag?

I need to buy a new work bag as my current one is too small for fitting my lunch, water bottle, etc in. I was thinking of maybe getting the black Le Pilage bag but I'm not sure if the canvas material makes it too casual?

What do you think?

I think it depends what your job is. I use one as a work bag, but we wear smart casual. Or just casual.
