Debenhams now charging delivery

I know they are closing so now charge a delivery of £2.99 pr order, but I ordered two beauty items in one order and because they didn't turn up in the same package, I have now been charge £2.99 for each package, this can't be right can it? As its not my fault they didn't come together in one package. Anyone else had this?

Are you saying that, after you had confirmed the order and amount and paid, they took an additional £2.99 without your authorisation? Definitely not on. I just went and put two things in my basket and it came up as one delivery charge. You do have to click a box agreeing to terms and conditions, I had a quick scan but there is a a LOT to read. Maybe contact them, it may just be a processing error.

I’ve sent for two items, only charged £2.99 for delivery, but they’re taking ages. One item delivered last Thursday, No sign of the other yet.

LubaLuca · 01/02/2021 19:44

Are you sure? I received one order in 3 separate packages last week - the invoice in each package listed £2.99 for p&p, but obviously I was only charged once (when I placed the order).

lindyloo57 · 01/02/2021 20:02

When I ordered there was one charge, as they came separately the £2.99 is on both invoices,

Just because it’s on the invoice doesn’t mean you’ve been charged it. You need to check what has gone out of your account

I just checked when I make the order and there is only one £2.99 charge, I pay my bill at the bank the old fashion way so won't know what I've
been charged till I get my bill in, after seeing what other people have said it look like I won't have been charge twice, thanks for your help.

Hi - I was just looking on Debenhams page for help with this very issue . I placed order with 5 items in my basket and £2.99 delivery , but each item came in a separate bag , with its own delivery charge . There was no clear indication on the confirmation email that this would be the case . I’m returning 3 items, but don’t know if the delivery on these will be refunded . Deffo won’t be ordering from Debenhams again ! This is not on !!

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 12/03/2021 07:50

I am pretty sure that the £2.99 delivery charge appears on all the delivery slips but is only charged once. Obviously double check your credit card statement as to what you were actually charged for but that's been my experience.

lindyloo57 · 12/03/2021 08:44

You will only be charged once, this happed to me.
