Makeup for after peri oral dermatitis heals

Just looking for some suggestions, really for when my skin has settled and cleared. I’m not using makeup while I am currently suffering with perioral dermatitis.
Would a powdery makeup work better or maybe a tinted moisturiser? Am thinking regular liquid foundations might not be good or maybe there are some tried and tested ones. I do have very bad dark circles but using a corrector plus concealer won’t look great without foundation, so some suggestions for an under eye brightener or lightweight concealer for under eyes would be great. Thanks in advance.

Bump and also to add that fragrance free options are preferable.

I finished antibiotics about 2 weeks ago for this.
I am now using a tinted moisturiser and have no problems so far.
However I don't wear it everyday.
I wear a mask at work all day (nurse)
and there is no point as any make up just runs off my face into it.
I only use on my days off.

Cillmantain which tinted moisturiser do you use? Yes, I wear a mask all day too, so not so concerned about makeup at those times. More for when in meetings online etc and I’m not using a mask.

Hi OP, I’ve experienced this in the past and tinted moisturisers and mineral powder make up seemed to work best, normal foundation didn’t work particularly well for me after an outbreak. For an under eye concealer maybe look at the Nars radiant creamy one- it’s so good you can get away with just a tinted moisturiser for the rest of your face.

Thanks Winterbee. Which tinted moisturiser do you use? I already have some mineral powder (bare minerals matte version) so have one thing covered.

I had this last year and kept away from foundation and used Bobbi brown tinted moisturiser

Thanks Millymoo1202
I’ll give that one a try.

To be honest, I've not had a break out of perioral dermatitis for a few years now, and I can't remember which one I used at the time. It probably was the La Roche Posay one, which is very gentle on the skin but actually not a great colour match for me if I'm truthful. At the moment I'm using the Bare Minerals tinted moisturiser which has been very good and not caused any flare ups.

I was eyeing up the Bare minerals one recently so that’s also useful to know. Thank you.
Think I need to get past the worst of this and then figure out which basics I can tolerate.
