White hiker boots - wear with?

Holding my hands up, I am a) very easily influenced and b) have been hankering after some Grensons for a while, but have held off as I'm between sizes and have had some annoying experiences buying footwear online, making mistakes like assuming that a size would be consistent across a single brand Hmm This had put me off buying Grensons as I couldn't bring myself to spend close to £600 on two pairs to try and then faff about with returns.

However, I saw a post on social media this morning about a further discount on the ASOS sale and just went for a quick look... ten minutes later I'd bought a pair of white Grensons. They're the normal sole, not the big chunky ones, and completely not what I would have expected myself to buy, but I'm also addicted to a bargain, and ASOS makes returns easy.

So that's all the excuses out of the way... does anyone have these, or something similar in white, and what do you wear them with?? If they fit, I was thinking mainly jeans/trousers - skinny, rolled up etc, but wondered if there are any more interesting ideas. Pics would be amazing...

Your boots sound exciting. I hope that they fit and you love them.

I've just posted a photo of my cream dr martens on another thread, so I'll pop them on here too! I was worried when I bought them (also a sale bargain) as I thought they might be a bit flash. They're very wearable though, perfect for spring, and look great with jeans. I've worn them loads more than I thought I might.

Can we see a picture of yours? How white are they?

I had some cream biker boots years ago and they went with everything. I had the exact same pair in grey too and wore them with jeans, skirts anything.

@JofraArchersFastestBall flash is exactly the word! I'm too old to be wearing joggers outside the house and it feels a bit like they might be the sort of thing you should wear with tracksuit bottoms and a cropped top and tonnes of makeup like a teenager... I was never cool enough to carry that sort of thing off in my youth and I'm definitely not now!

I don't have a pic but it's these ones: www.asos.com/grenson/grenson-nanette-white-leather-hiker-boots-with-black-contrast-sole/

I think my legs are a bit too muscly/chunky/pale for the floaty dresses/chunky boots look on ASOS. I normally wear dark tights with skirts, as I'm in Scotland and it's cold! Just not sure if white boots will look daft with black tights, although I suppose it's not that different from black skinny jeans.

Light blue coloured jeans, navy trousers, dark brown, camel trousers would all look good, a yellow skirt, mint coloured trousers.

Ah, thanks for this OP! I was looking at the white vegan Grensons in the sale so this has given me some ideas.... I figured they’d work for spring/summer with lighter coloured jeans and jumpers, tees. I have cherry red DMs already and black lace up boots - but sometimes they feel a bit ‘heavy’ in the spring/summer.

I bought a pair of cream chunky biker/hiking boots a few months ago. I've worn them loads. They go with a surprisingly large amount of outfits! Basically any time I'd wear black boots, these ones go equally well, but jazz up a dark outfit better than black boots.
