Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk for HOC Winters

Hi I keep hearing great things about CT lip products- there's a new tinted balm I'd like to try. Apparently Pillow Talk is a universally flattering shade but I'm suspicious! I'm cool toned , do any Winters or Summers use this please? If not any other shade ( pinky cool toned ) work?

I have Winter colouring. I have dark hair, blue eyes and light skin. I have Pillow Talk and it isn't universally flattering. That's just Tilbury spin. I really like Laura Mercier lipsticks in Bare Lips and Baby Lips for a flattering nude.

I’m a Winter and I don’t think Pillow Talk would suit me as it’s so beige. My closest to nude is Clinque’s Super Strawberry which is a sheer cool toned pink.

I'm very warm toned though, auburn hair, hazel eyes, and I like them as anything too dark or bold or even slightly red looks so incongruous on my face. So I can imagine them looking a bit sludgy on winters.

Thanks all, my suspicions are confirmed! Ive got the Clinique one mentioned & the moisture surge pop in goji Berry - both are good, just wanted a bit more gloss. I will try one of the others you've suggested instead rather than CT tho. Thanks

Have a look at Bobbi Brown Sandwash pink. It’s a more mauve type nude and looks nice on cooler skin tones.

All the nude pinks & Pillow Talk look v brown on me. I ended up with Maybelline tinted lip balm in Bubblegum. Beautiful sheer glossy, hint of pink. There's a chunky lipcrayon in that too which I've just ordered.

I've recently rediscovered No7 Pink Hint and Soft Tulip.

On a side note, I've been told I'm a cool winter, what eye shadow palette would you recommend? Sorry for the slight hijack @Tatapie
