I absolutely loved this perfume. I would have stockpiled enough for life had I known it was being discontinued. Instead I am left bereft! Can any knowledgeable MNers suggest what I might like as a replacement?

There was a thread yesterday about Iris perfumes. I don't know this one, but there were lots on the list. Is it just an iris note? Prada Infusions d'Iris is the irisiest iris Grin

Thanks StepOutOfLine, I saw that which remined me to post on S&B. I don't think that the Iris Nobile was particularly Irisy (I may be wrong) so I am not convinced I am looking for an Iris perfume - I am looking to fill the huge Aqua di Parma Iris Nobile shaped hole in my life! With the added difficulty that we are in lockdown and even when we come out of it, tester perfume bottles in shops are a thing of the past (at least for the foreseable future) Sad.

Is it not available on line? Surely some shops still have existing stock so you can stock up?
I love Aqua di Parma but don't really know that one & now I want to try it Grin

Hi caperplips - I have looked and looked and all I can find are the little handbag bottles which won't get me very far.

MsFogi · 30/01/2021 13:13

Strike that - I can find it but for £150!!!!

Have you looked on the Frangrantica website for perfumes that smell like your one, or similar - they sometimes link to where you can buy your fragrance too.

Try perfume parlour, they may have a dupe. I've got one of their Aqua di parmar peonie mobile which is lovely.

Did you buy it and was it legit? For me too the world became a slightly duller place when i found out.

FreekStar · 20/06/2021 08:35

John Lewis still had all the tester perfumes out when I was in there a few weeks ago!

Try Prada Ifusion d'Iris - that's supposed to be very good.

Did you ever find a good replacement OP? I'm in a same situation. I don't understand why they got rid of such a lovely perfume!

Hi there, I'm sorry this is a very late reply but I was looking for some Iris Nobile to buy only to discover three years too late that it's discontinued. So, I thought I'd suggest some similar fragrances for you to try if you never found a viable alternative. The other day I happened to smell Maison Margiela's Replica: Lazy Sunday Morning and it reminded me of Iris Nobile with its lovely green stem notes, woody undertones and bright floral heart that's not to sweet. The same brand also has a similar scent called Flower Market which is like walking into a florist with all the enveloping notes you miss. Also, you'll find the sophisticated green note you miss in Maison Francis Kurkdjian's APOM (A Part Of Me) Femme which is gorgeous as well and very reminiscent. This one isn't a bargain but it is amazing. I hope you find your dream scent again.
