Removing eye makeup from upper waterline

I'm really coming around to the positives of tightlining my upper lashes. It definitely opens up my eyes and makes them seem wider set.

Only downside is removing the eye makeup! Found oil based cleanser and eye make up remover help but my normal cleanser and micellar make up remover are not up to the job.

Any product recs and techniques. My eyes and eyelashes are taking a battering!

I use Lancôme bi-facil eye make up remover with a cotton bud stick for the waterline - only way to get into the eyelash roots, similar technique to applying the eyeliner in the first place :)

Ahh that's interesting @tottieplantagenet. I never thought to use a cotton bud. Will definitely try that.

Probably looking for an eye makeup remover a little more budget than lancome, if there are any suggestions out there.

I've used a Garnier one that's similar to Lancome, that was ok. But if you have oil based cleansers, they should work fine too.
