Bralette for big DD bust

JFCO · 28/01/2021 11:48

After spending so much time at home, I no longer want to wear a bra. I am size DD or E. What style/company works? Ideally, I want to feel as free as possible, but do not want to walk about 'jiggling'.
Looking at bralettes, but not sure they are supportive enough.
Something mid-range, do not want to remortgage my house Grin

I've been searching for the same! I've just ordered a pack of 3 crop tops from M&S in the hope they'll be supportive enough. Their lacey bralettes (sold as DD+) are not Hmm

DD is not a big bust. Have you measured using the Boob or Bust method? You are probably a different size to what you think.

SpeckledyHen · 28/01/2021 13:29

There have been a fair few threads about recently about them with lots of recommendations if you do a search.

I have lived in these since the last lockdown started! I'm a 32F. I just take the padding out so it's more comfortable. They're not the most attractive things in the world but they are exceptionally comfortable and will ruin you for underwired padded bras (which I still grudgingly put on if I need to go out).

She could be. We don’t know the back size yet?! 🙂

My friend whose boobs are very generously proportioned has been recommending the crop tops from this company:

@withlotsoflove true but still wouldn’t be big! My sister got measured as a 28DD at bravissimo and her boobs are tiny lol.

Bogardicia · 28/01/2021 19:45

I’ve got the same ones debateable suggested upthread, I find it’s got absolutely no support whatsoever!

Onthetrain75 · 28/01/2021 19:50

I tried a number of bralettes from Bravissimo, sadly didn’t find any of them supportive enough (32e). But did find a John Lewis sleep bra which is good enough for round the house. Wouldn’t be enough support for walking dog etc but great for pottering around after shower etc at end of the day...

KatharinaRosalie · 28/01/2021 21:15

bravissimo Nova is surprisingly supportive
