Just wandered what your opinions are about designer handbags and about the customer service you've received from high end brands? Which designers offer the best in terms of customer service and satisfaction? I say this because I recently bought a Coach handbag in the sale from their UK website and was hugely disappointed when I was notified that my order had been cancelled because it's out of stock. How can they do this after I've paid for it!?

When I googled it, I found MANY, MANY other people complaining about randomly cancelled items or orders that never arrived. I was so surprised that a luxury brand like Coach could have such abysmal customer service. I know it's a weird time with Covid and Brexit but I still don't think that justifies these huge designer brands treating their customers like crap, especially when we're spending hundreds of pounds.

Also had a bad experience with Kate Spade. Ordered a wallet on chain bag and it arrived covered in hideous white scruff marks. I was so disappointed! Again, how do these designers think this is acceptable?! I think I've had better service in Primark!

So far my favourite brands for service and reliability have been Longchamp and Michael Kors. I would imagine Chanel and LV would be very good, but who knows?! Is it better to order through a department store like Selfridges? Any thoughts or ideas welcome :)
