Stylish raincoat that actual keeps me dry?!

Im looking into petite bateau but they’re quite pricy so want to see if another brand exist that does the same job (keeps me dry without looking like I’m about to go rambling) at a cheaper rate? I’ve bought cheaper rainmacs that are really only good for a light drizzle.

What can keep me dry in a downpour?!!

I have one from Uniqlo - it was £60. It’s from their Blocktech range. I bought a £60 down coat from Uniqlo at the same time and often wear them together so totally prepared for all weather at all times for the princely sum of £120!

Mine is from Regatta online in 2019, their Alesha Dixon range. It's navy parka style, looks good & keeps me dry.

This year I think Kimberley Walsh did a range.

Mine was half price then had a discount so about £45? Very good value. I believe they often have offers on.

Also for more £££s my sister has a grey Hunter raincoat that keeps her dry & looks good.

`I have a waterproof from Protected Species and I love it. It was £££ but worth it in my opinion.

Don't order online from Uniqlo - I've been waiting weeks for something and their customer service department is useless.

Uniqlo packable parka good for a light shower and folds really small.
North Face used to do siyme brill waterproofs (not looked for a long time donor sure what they have thesedays)....they kept me bone dry in driving Atlantic rain on the west coast of Ireland.
I also saw a black Ralph Lauren trenchcoat (with hood) reduced to about £70 from around £300 in John Lewis recently.

Emma will black duvet coat from next. Really warm, waterproof snd I get loads of compliments on it
