Apart from the obvious (next, H&M, m&s etc) were else can I look for office wear?

Difficult at the moment as most people are wfh so not a lot of options. I start a new job in a week (healthcare provider in office before anyone says I should be at home) so I need some new clothes, any ideas?

Jigsaw, Hobbs, Boden.

I guess it depends on how corporate your office is. I typically wore pencil skirts or cigarette trousers with satin shirts, or fine knits like turtle necks and cashmere jumpers. Alot of the tops were clothes I would wear out of work styled different, so looked in the same shops.

What’s your budget and do you know what the dress code is? As it’s healthcare it could be on the more casual side of workwear?

Juliancoped · 24/01/2021 14:44

Uniqlo from smart basics.

Thewiseoneincognito · 24/01/2021 14:45

Cos, Arket, Theory, Maxmara, Joseph they’re all good for easy basics

Next for some smart casual/suitable for business dresses, skirts and cardigans?
I like Zara blazers too.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to call Monday now I've completed my Onboarding just to check. Last job was slightly more corporate so wore lots of office dresses with heels however could dress them down too with some loafers so I have a few bits.

Budget around £150 ideally just for a few key pieces - smart trousers/skirt etc I have lots of tops & cardigans I can wear with them.
