I am looking for bridesmaid dresses and know that Mumsnetters will have knowledge of great online options.
Thank you in advance.

bit vague. what budget per dress? do you have any that will need special sizing - tall, petite, plus sized, large bust...? women or children bridesmaids?

Goonanooa · 24/01/2021 18:25

£150 max
Regular sizes 10/ 12/14
No flower girl.
I am always amazed on these threads at the knowledge of fellow Mumsnetters. They know of lots of websites I've never heard of !

I bought a bridesmaid dress from Chi Chi London a few years ago - www.chichiclothing.com/

If you like retro styles you could try Vivien of Holloway www.vivienofholloway.com/women-c70/dresses-c10

Given 3 is the standard number of bridesmaids, I'd search eBay for them. Bound to be lots unworn atm.

ASOS have a good selection in their own brand, they also have a curated selection with other brands - if you find any that particularly appeal it might be worth looking at their website as many times they have exclusive styles not available anywhere else. www.asos.com/women/occasion-wear/bridesmaid-outfits/cat/?cid=17245&ctaref=FE|WW|tbdhed|bridesmaiddresses

I have used Rewritten before, they are really nice dresses and you can mix and match styles

Debenhams often have a good range of prom/bridesmaids dresses.

@Goonanooa We've just received DD's prom dress from JJs House. Chiffon; simple style, true to size and a real bargain. Arrived in about ten days.

goose1964 · 25/04/2021 20:50

Goonanooa my daughter was a bridesmaid who's friend ordered them from JJs house, it did not fit any of the bridesmaids, and it cost nearly as much again to get them altered but they were still not in the right proportion. I'd look in Monsoon sale.

www.thandth.com/ Have some lovely dresses

Thank you for recommendations and advice.
Will take a look.
Good and bad reviews of JJ's House.

My daughter’s prom dress came from JJs house, it was a perfect fit and looked lovely, she had a jade green low backed very slim fitting dress in a non stretchy fabric which was fully lined - so it could have easily been a disaster!

Maid to Measure is great
