What to buy with £200 at Space NK

I have vouchers worth £200 for Space NK and one is about to expire. I just don't know what to buy!

I look at the website and it's all a bit too much, I get lost down the hole of trying to compare products and never make a decision. I have always loved skincare but now have 3 young kids so not up to date with it all as much as I used to be abs for some reason it feels like quite a responsibility to spend it correctly!

I'm 41 with skin that tends to be dehydrated/on the dry side but clear, dark circles under eyes from years of sleep deprivation and sensitive dry under eyes. I had the Cult Beauty advent calendar this year (usually get a nice one every year so have tried a few brands) and have had some Oskia, de Mamiel, and Dennis Gross products that I've liked a lot.

So, do I go with more products and if so what or do I push the boat out and get some technology like the spectralite mask, either the eye one or full face? Has anyone used this?

I haven't tried the masks but a gadget might be a good way to spend the money eg they do the face cleaning products, hair dryers, laser hair removal etc.

Otherwise getting some things from the brands you liked from the calendar.

de Mamiel is lovely and the sort of thing I couldn't bring myself to buy normally but would be lovely to get with a voucher :)

AliceinBunniland · 24/01/2021 15:09

£200 is a good amount

Things I'd buy / recommend:

Hourglass ambient lighting palette
Nars blusher
Nuxe skincare
Drink elephant skincare
Slip goodies - I love a silk pillow and I'm tempted by their hair ties and face masks
Laura Mercier bath products

They still have some stuff in sale too so your vouchers could go a bit further

I would buy Sunday Riley’s autocorrect eye cream, and a nuface mini or the fine line nuface! I love the eye cream and the mini, I haven’t tried the fine line one, but I’d like to!

You probably aren't interested in what I bought but I got the Laura Mercier loos translucent powder and her secret concealer or whatever it is called. Very happy with both.

If I had £200 to spend I might well have got her souffle body cream or some moisturising stuff as my skin has become dragon-scaley!

cardoon · 25/01/2021 09:46

I would buy diptyque and aesop

Lamentations · 25/01/2021 10:37

I love skincare but I'd definitely spend some or all of it on diptyque candles and perfume.

AliceinBunniland · 25/01/2021 13:32

I just got the Laura Mercier secret camouflage concealer recently and I would recommend that too.

AliceinBunniland · 25/01/2021 13:33

And agree the powder is good Grin

I wish I had these vouchers! Based on my own personal wishlist/stuff that's running out, I would buy:

Diptyque Geranium perfume
Nars eye primer
Aromatherapy Associates bath oil
By Terry powder

I think that would be a bit over. I do love a Diptyque candle, but tbh I have been buying really nice ones from Etsy sellers since lockdown and am not sure I would go back even if I had the ££ going spare.

JMAngel1 · 26/01/2021 11:30

@Judystilldreamsofhorses. oooh can you link to the candles please on Etsy?

JMAngel1 · 26/01/2021 11:33

I would get AA Deep bath oil too - gorgeous stuff.
I would probably treat myself to a Nars blush and lipstick and some sort of fragranced body cream.
If money left over, a candle.

Yes I would like this link too please.

I think Space NK has an offer on this week with £20 off a £100 spend (?) do it nay go further.

As you mention Oskia I like their melting massage candle but appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea

Aromatherapy Associates Bath Oil or the selection box of oils
