Help - measuring length for a dress

Help! I’m ordering these bridesmaid dresses and they come in 42, 45 or 47 inch length, but I don’t know where to measure to!

They sent me chest to floor which would be 45 or 47inches (5’4 and 5’6) but if it’s waist to floor then I’d need shorter ones. Any advice?

Length of a dress is nape of neck to hem

Can't you simply ask them which measurement they need?

I’ve messaged and asked, and got an automatic response back saying it can take up to 3 working days to respond due to fewer people working from the office. I also wondered if it was something really obvious I’m missing.

I don’t think it can be neck to hem on this one as the top straps are alterable and that wouldn’t work with the height unless someone was pretty short.

I think you need to wait then for a response. I can see from the Etsy listing that these are made in Russia. Guessing there may be a time lag. But also feedback suggests they reply quickly. When you ask, are sure you are specific eg is 47 inches long measured from waist or neck? For example I am short and 35 inches for me in a dress is knee length

Thanks. I wasn’t sure it it was something really obvious I was missing.
