Does anyone know or like the fashion of Monique in The Serpent? some nice outfit choices I thought though probably specially made?

She wears some great stuff. I would have thought it was vintage or new. Only costume dramas have a costume designer, too expensive otherwise.

Cracking 1970s styling. As another poster said, all period dramas have stylists, people in charge of wardrobe. They spend ages nailing the fashions of the time.

They have dressed her brilliant! She wears genuine vintage 70's clothes for sure.

I loved loved loved her clothes. I do love a bit of seventies fashion generally and the colours suit me.

My favourites were the red/white/green jumpsuit from the party and basically everything she wore in France!

I saw an interview and all the clothes were made. Some are exact replicas made by looking at photos of the real life people, the characters are based on.

They look great but I think it's a very stylised take on the 70s and I'd be surprised if the clothes are authentic.
Same with the hippy travellers - they don't look crusty enough.

I'm watching currently and the clothes are amazing!
My faves:
The sunglasses.
The animal print belt.
The green backless/halterneck evening dress.
The way she wears a headscarf as a hair band.
Jenna Coleman is absolutely beautiful and has an elegance about her that just screams stylish.

Jane Birkin and Bianca Jagger were the inspiration

Yes, Monique is effortlessly stylish. The moment I spotted Jenna Coleman on Emmerdale, I thought "wow, she is stunning". I knew she would go on to do bigger and better things - just look at her now!
