Can we talk about underwear? (Light-hearted)

Do you wear nice underwear every day? I've got really boring, black, cotton undies. Comfortable but well, you know, not exactly oozing appeal...
Was inspired by the bloke in Emily in Paris saying we should all wear beautiful underwear to give us confidence. I'd love to but it seems extravagant!

Thanks to this thread and the one about winter dresses
I have just ordered a bra and 4 pairs of matching knickers
A uniqlo sweater dress and then got tempted into a cashmere jumper in sale from them as well
I’m also now watching about 6 things on eBay

Oh, a winter dress thread you say?

Thanks OP, I'll check out JL, but I suspect I've tried all the likely ones. (Small back, prominent ribcage and big boobs - well, they aren't huge but bra manufacturers don't think I should have any it seems)

I have gone for period pants. I do not now have periods but got them off teleshopping (not QVC) as the lady said they wold also be good for incontinence (which I suffer from). They are made from (I think) Neoprene? The swimsuit material but have a cotton gusset. They have a slightly padded feel underneath. I still have to wear pads with it (Blood is thicker than water!) but they feel nice on. They smooth me but are not shapers. They are called cheeky pants.

They do others that look really nice but I got the full knicker shape as I think I had to.

I realise this is probably not the right post but maybe some of you stil menstruating would be interested. They do washable pads too!
