Has anyone used this? Is it worth the hype? There are rave reviews all over the net but I'd like to hear from someone that has actually tried it before I decide whether to buy..

I'm also hoping someone will answer, I've been thinking about it myself!

Maybe it's just me but I've have loads of Drunk Elephant products in beauty calendars etc and been disappointed with every single item. I wouldnt rebuy any including this one. What are you looking for... I can maybe say products I do like?

Thanks both for your replies. In the absence of a commute/alcohol/anything approaching a social life I’ve started a proper skincare routine and I’d like to add a once weekly mask. I’m mid 40s and, ideally, I’m looking for something that will help reduce fine lines. It’s a treat so I don’t mind spending on something if it works!

Do you use Retinol? That's what you need to target anti aging

I really like this as a twice weekly exfoliating treatment (which is what Babyfacial is) www.cultbeauty.co.uk/kate-somerville-exfoli-kate-intensive-exfoliating-treatment.html

Currently I’m using a glycolic overnight peak twice per week, the other nights I’m using the Ordinary 0.2% retinol in squalane.

Have a look at Beauty Maverick on Youtube she's just done a review.

Ooh what’s your routine / what kind of skin do you have?? I keep meaning to do this.

I bought a full size babyfacial in the US a while back.. It is very strong! I don't have very sensitive skin but it definitely stung whilst it was on. TBH I wasn't that impressed and definitely wouldn't repurchase. I was quite seduced by DE when it all came out and loved all the packaging etc but haven't actually found anything I would repurchase.

In the morning I use a Clinique facial cleaning bar in the shower followed by a toner. Then an under eye cream and a q10 serum followed by the inkey Bakuchiol or just a normal day cream. In the evenings I use a hot cloth cleanser then the peel or retinol. My skin has always been pretty good but the amount of fine lines is definitely increasing!

In all honesty I just want a mask I can put on in the bath on a Sunday and feel like I’m doing something nice for myself. I tried sand and sky but it burned like hell.

I love the Fresh - Black Tea Mask for one that is really lovely to use!

doadeer · 24/01/2021 14:58

I really like the Herbivore Mask - Blue Tansy. I'm not usually a huge mask fan but this feels more like a nice exfoliating step.

I saw it advertised in the window of my local Space NK apothecary and wondered what it was. Obviously, closed because of lock down so I can't go in and find out!
