Maje sizing

Hi does anyone know how Maje compares on sizing with others on the high street? If I'm a size 8 but sometimes 10 in Whistles and size 8 in Jigsaw, do you think I'd be an 8 or a 10 in Maje? Thanks!

10 possibly even a 12 depending on body shape, they fit small, even the French complain about it. Be sure to check their customs and duties policy if ordering from them direct.

Selfridge's and Harrods also stock them if you need an alternative. So does the Outnet but that's previous years stock

The sizes run small. BTW They have a shop in McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Ashford, Kent (closed for now obviously) if you are in south east.

Just listening to the radio and they were saying VAT is added to anything over £135, so will look at Selfridges and Harrods, so annoying as I really like some of the French brands :-(

No that's not correct, over £135 you pay import duties on top of VAT. You pay VAT on anything over £15 (iirc) which you always have to pay. Some companies are set up for it and it's headache free purchasing as before with no added fees upon delivery but with the short notice a lot are trying to catch up, but best to always check everything before ordering and contacting customer care in case it's not clear.

Per the Make UK site, if you order now you'll be paying taxes but if you wait to end of January they hope to have their act together and you won't have vat or import duties headaches.
