I have very greasy hair.. and used so many products, I could rinse my hair 3 or 4
Times in the shower and it still looks greasy after or the morning after. Where am I going wrong! What shampoo is best to use and how? Thanks x

Since we're in lockdown so nowhere to go, I'm transitioning to an SLS free shampoo. It's gradually getting better and I can go much longer between washes.
I used to need to wash my hair every other day, but always felt a bit grotty on the second day. I read that SLS started out as an industrial degreaser and it strips your hair of natural oils, so it in turn produces more oil.
No products particularly, I'm using a shampoo bar bit there are plenty of SLS free choices.

I've found the perfect solution for my greasey hair which is to wash first with vosene then a second wash with Philippe Christophe salt scrub. I can go 2 days now, which is unheard of. The scrub isn't cheap but you only need a tiny bit for an amazing lather

Teen DD had this problem amongst a few others. Diagnosed with PCOS and put on Dianette. The biggest and quickest change was the greasy hair went away.

Before we knew that she tried a few things, one of which did help a bit. On dry hair rub in aloe vera all over the scalp (section to ensure you get to all the scalp) and leave for 15 minutes. Wash hair as normal. It definitely did some good.

Go cold turkey on the washing it so much. Wash it and leave it for two days. Dry shampoo if you need it in between.

I had horrendously greasy but managed to train myself out of it in the first lockdown. I've gone from washing every day to once every three.

Aldi apple shampoo is great for my greasy hair. I wet my hair, put their apple conditioner on the ends and leave for a couple of minutes, then shampoo while the conditioner is still on there. It gives volume and lifts my hair away from my scalp which seems to be the key for me.

How much are you touching your hair? That can make a huge difference.
