As above- I need recommendation for pants that will stay up . Size 12-14, wobbly tummy and since having baby pants just won’t stay up. Please help I am spending a fortune on knickers that seem to fit but then won’t stay up as I move! About to do an order from Marks and Spencer so any tips gratefully received Smile

M&S full briefs are great. But are you definitely ordering the right size?

optimisticpessimist01 · 21/01/2021 11:56

I think you're wearing the wrong size if you're finding they don't stay up. This has never happened to me!

TheCanyon · 21/01/2021 12:06

I wear the no vpl shorts, they're low rise though. The elastics quite tight on them so no chance of falling down.

StarlightLady · 21/01/2021 12:08

Are you buying too big? Most people who are economical with the truth about their size go for too small. I often wear M&S Brazillians and have never had that problem!

Uachtar · 22/01/2021 09:04

Thank you will have a look at the suggestions. I don’t think the size is wrong, although maybe too big as I can’t stand tight things. Maybe I just have a really odd shape now!

I've been wearing M&S Brazilians for years. Ordered a load of new ones (usual size) last year. Round my ankles within minutes. Rubbish.

ParisJeTAime · 22/01/2021 09:14

I wear high waisted ones from M&S. I am a size 18 normally and I order a 12! They are perfect.
I have a very high waistline and not much of a bum, so anything bigger or lower slung either falls or rolls right off.

They aren't the prettiest, but at least they don't fall down or dig in anywhere. Will see if I can find the ones.

Choconuts · 22/01/2021 10:08

I second @ParisJeTAime recommendations they stay up lovely over my 2 csec belly!

Uachtar · 22/01/2021 12:07

Great thank you this is what I need maybe I am buying too big. Will try the full briefs don’t care what they look like so long as not round my ankles Smile

I will say that I also HATE anything which digs in or really clings. These really don't. I would normally size up if anything, but in these I really do need to size down a good few sizes.

Zebracat · 22/01/2021 12:59

Very helpful. My knickers are always falling down. I am an 18 but just had some 14s delivered. Maybe I need to go to a 12. Does that mean I can say I am a size 12?

ParisJeTAime · 22/01/2021 13:02

@Zebracat 100%, yes. I am DEFINITELY a size 12 in this very specific set of M&S pants only. Ahem.. definitely!

I went 14 first and then thought "hang on, I actually think I could go smaller", bought them and they are now the only pants I will buy! If they ever sort out their sizing though, I'll have to buy my actual size though.

Zebracat · 22/01/2021 13:09

I feel so excited, I’m a size 12. My least falling down pants are a set of size 12s from Next that I bought on sale last year. But I thought they must have been wrongly sized!

StarlightLady · 22/01/2021 14:52

Last time my knickers were round my ankles, l had some assistance to get them there. They have never dropped on an involuntary basis! 😂

Birthdayhat · 22/01/2021 14:59

I wore M+S bikini style size 14 for years but they started falling down a lot (post kids) - went up a size, didn't help. Now i've changed to the Midi style, not quite as massive as full brief but they stay up now (size 14). Next midi style size 14 are too big really but are ok.

GrimDamnFanjo · 22/01/2021 15:01

High waist full briefs with the Lacy tops?

beckycharlie · 22/01/2021 15:18

M&s full briefs in the multipacks are what I wear and they are the comfiest underwear I own
