Lipstick bleeding solutions

Anyone got any that doesn't involve foundation or face powder, neither of which I wear. I tried a clear lip liner but that doesn't work.

Do I need a better product or a different application technique? Lipstick looks good for 30 mins and then starts bleeding, mostly lower lip.

I'm the wrong side of 40 if that makes a difference to advice.

A pencil the same, or similar colour to the lipstick works well. Sometimes it helps to put the lipstick on, blot with a tissue, squeezed between your lips, then add another layer.

Max factor invisible lip liner, but outside as well as inside the lips. I just use it as though it was a lip salve.

I tried invisible liner but it didn't work for me. Are there any brands that do exact lipstick and lip liner matches?

Invisible lip liner never worked for me either.
Most brands do matching or similar coloured lip liners. I find these do a much better job.

Or a neutral one like Charlotte tilbury’s pillow talk. Then you can add any other colour to it. It really is worth the hype (I know lots of her other stuff isn’t!).

Thank you!

I like the lip primer from Look Fabulous Forever.

Lip liner and applying lipstick with a lip brush.

Never thought about using a lip primer, does it help prevent bleeding? No idea why my lower lip line seems to have disappeared

I use the Laura Geller lip spackle in the little pot - I think now it's in a lipstick bullet format. It's the best thing ever. Thick but once you put lipstick on it will not move until you take it off.

The LFF lip primer stops "feathering".
Their make up range is aimed at older women.
